It’s Christmas movie season! We have the Complete 2024 Christmas Movie Checklist just for you! It includes Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, Great American Family, UpTV, and all the streaming services, too! And the best part is it’s by date, so you won’t have to go through all the channel checklists every day! I adore Christmas movies of all kinds, but in particular, I love Hallmark Christmas movies. And I watch them all every single year! In the past few years, I’ve branched out and watched a lot of movies on other networks during the holiday season. I’ve expanded my horizons to enjoy movies on Lifetime, UpTV, and GAC, plus a few others! I have printed all the lists of movie checklists from various sources and I go about watching during my holiday season. But one thing always bothered me. I really didn’t like having to go from list to list to list to see what was on each night. I wished I could just find one giant combined list so that I could see what was on all the channels on any given day, instead of checking 8 or 10 lists each day to see what to record.

2024 Free Printable Combined Christmas Movie Checklist
So, after searching and searching for a combined Christmas movie list, I came up empty-handed. So, I made it myself! That’s right! I’ve created a 2024 list of all-new Christmas movies for everyone! And I’m sharing it for everyone to get a FREE printable copy! I’m so excited and I hope you will be, too!

Channels
What channels have I covered for this checklist? All that I could find, friend! ALL of them!!!!
The cable channels covered include Hallmark, Lifetime, GAC, and UpTV.
And the streaming channels I’ve included are BET+, Amazon Prime, Amazon Freevee, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, FoxNation, and Hulu.
Trust me, I’ve researched and researched, and hopefully, I’ve not missed any of the movies. If so, definitely let me know!
Breakdown By Channel
Here’s a little more about each network or streaming service. I found the breakdown of all the networks to be SUPER fascinating this year. All I can figure is Christmas movies must be excellent for business and I say give me all of them!
Cable Channels
Hallmark
My first love, now and forever, will be Hallmark Christmas movies. And 2024 will not be a disappointment with 47 new Christmas movies this season between the Hallmark Channel and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel. (Plus newly launched Hallmark + movies and shows and series!!) Also, don’t forget, they already gave us 2 new Christmas movies during Christmas in July for a total of 47 Christmas movies in 2024!
This year has some super fun plots for the movies! There are going to be 3 more Cherry Lane movies for starters! And there is the highly anticipated sequel to “3 Wise Men and a Baby”, “3 Wiser Men and a Boy”! There’s also a movie for the Kansas City Chiefs Superfans out there that includes the Kansas City Chiefs and even has a cameo appearance by Donna Kelce! There is also a Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha movie filmed and set in Iceland. For my money, it doesn’t get better than that. How about a 5-year Christmas party? That’s in there too! I’m so excited about all of it!!
Actors
This year has most of the usual Hallmark faces we’ve come to love, as well as some new actors to keep things well-rounded and interesting! You’ve got your old faithful like Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, Erin Krakow, Lyndsy Fonseca, Beau Mirchoff, Hunter King, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Carlo Marks, Eva Bourne, Rachel Skarsten, Ashley Newbrough, Rachel Boston, Paul Campbell, Jessica Lowndes, Ginna Claire Mason, Meghan Ory, Eva bourne, Stacey Farber, Ali Skovbye and Benjamin Ayres.
Then you have some new BUT famous faces like Diedrich Bader, Ed Begley Jr., Angela Kinsey, Tammin Sursok, Daniella Monet, Richard Riehle, Jenna Bush Hager, and NFL player Mecole Hardman Jr.
Start Date
Hallmark Christmas movies start on Friday, October 18, 2024, and will air new movies on Thursdays (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries), Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. All movies start at 8:00est.
Lifetime
Next up we have the Lifetime channel and they have cut way back this year to only 12 new Christmas movies as part of their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday programming. New movies begin this year on Saturday, November 18, 2024. I really enjoy the Lifetime Christmas movies. They are of awesome quality and have great stories and lots of familiar faces acting in them!
The movie I saw on the list that most interests me is “Christmas in the Spotlight” which is inspired by the love story between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Start Date
Lifetime Christmas movies premiere on Saturday, November 18, 2024, and will be on Saturday and Sunday evenings. All movies start at 8:00est.
GAC
The newest movies on the block are GAC movies. GAC stands for the “Great American Family Channel” and the network is new and started in 2021. The GAC Christmas movies continue and for 2024, and they have added a ton this year for a total of 18 new movies! Several of the familiar faces of Hallmark Channel have moved over to GAC (like Candace Cameron Bure and Danika McKellar) and the former President of Crown Media (the company that runs Hallmark Channel), Bill Abbott, runs GAC now. So I’m betting these movies will be a LOT like Hallmark movies of the older days! Probably not a lot of edgy plots over there, but I still expect some really cute movies!
The Great American Christmas movies were pretty good last year and I only expect even better this year. There are several Hallmark veterans that have made the jump over to GAC and I think it’ll be fun to watch these as well!
The most anticipated GAC movie for me is “A Little Women’s Christmas”. It’s got quite the star lineup and should be really great!
Start Date
GAC Christmas movies start Saturday, October 12, 2024, and will be on Saturday nights through November 16, and then starting on November 16 they will air both on Saturday and Sundays! All movies start at 8:00est!
UpTV
UpTV is putting on their “Merry Movie Christmas” for 2024 and bringing us 12 new Christmas movies and the newest Gaither Vocal Band Christmas special! If you aren’t familiar with UpTV, their network brands itself as uplifting and positive programming and I think we could probably all use a little bit of that!
There are a few names I’ve heard before on the actor roster for these movies and lots of names that are new to me. I’m super excited to watch some of these and try them out! I haven’t watched any of the UpTV Christmas movies in years past so this will be new for me!
Start Date
UpTV Christmas movies begin on Sunday, November 3, 2024, and movies will air on Saturdays and Sundays at 7:00 PM.
Streaming Services
On to the streaming services! Some of these are free and some are part of paid streaming services. We have most of them, so I’m so excited to try some of them out!
BET +
BET+ is premiering 8 new Christmas movies this year! The BET + streaming schedule will start on Thursday, November 7, and will premiere a new movie every Thursday until Christmas!
There are some big names in these movies including Essence Atkins, Terrence “T.C.” Carson, Jennifer Freeman, Raven Goodwin, Jasmine Guy, Blue Kimble, Mario, China Anne McClain, Sierra McClain, Romeo Miller, Valerie Pettiford, Rain Pryor, Richard Pryor Jr., Pretty Vee, Tristan Wilds, and several others! And, one of the films goes on location in South Africa, with “A Wesley South African Christmas” set in Durban, South Africa.
Start date
These movies will begin dropping into the BET+ service on Thursday, November 7 and a new one will premiere each Thursday!
Hulu
Hulu has a Christmas movie this year called “Christmas on the Ranch” starring Amy Sloan and Houston Rhines. It’s a family friendly Christmas movie that will exclusively be shown on Hulu this season. It premiers on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Roku
Roku has a holiday movie that will be streaming this year! I’m not sure if they have previously had an original Christmas movie! It’s called “Jingle Bell Love” and will premiere on Monday, November 18, 2024. The movie stars Joey McIntyre of New Kids On the Block fame. Joey McIntyre will be performing an original song in the movie as well, so if you are a New Kids On The Block fan, here you go! Merry Christmas!
Netflix
Netflix is releasing six new Christmas movies this year! Including one with Lacey Chabert! And one with Lindsey Lohan! But the one everyone is talking about is the one starring Chad Michael Murray where he’s a male “Performer” that saves a venue by “Dancing” to raise money and attention to the venue. Yeah – “The Merry Gentlemen” is a Christmas male stripper movie. You read that right. I cannot wait to see how these movies go!
Netflix Holiday movies will start on Thursday, November 6, 2024.

I love these Christmas movies and I love how they make me feel at Christmas time and all year round. Will I be able to watch every single one? Certainly not. Will I try? Most definitely!
